This is our Story

 Where Every Hand Has a Voice

At Labor of Love Ministries, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to be seen, heard, and understood. Our mission is to empower children, families, seniors, and individuals throughout the San Jose community by providing inclusive ASL tool that foster communication,  emotional wellness, and personal growth.

We recognize that many individuals, including those experiencing  disabilities, mental health concerns, or communication barriers, often struggle to express their thoughts and emotions. Through our innovative American Sign Language (ASL) programs, we provide a supportive and welcoming environment where participants develop confidence, strengthen relationships, and discover healthy ways to communicate.

Our signature program, "Express, Empower & Embrace:" Transforming Emotions Through ASL, uses hand movements, facial expressions, body language, music, storytelling, and interactive learning to help participants express emotions when words alone are not enough. By integrating ASL into everyday communication, we promote emotional resilience, self-expression, inclusion, and meaningful social connections.

Labor of Love Ministries proudly serves individuals of all ages through specialized programs designed to meet the unique needs of our community.

 Labor of Love Ministries’ vision is to incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) into children’s storytelling sessions, special education programs, workshop for therapists, educators, and senior facilities. In addition, make the use of ASL as an effective communication tool between parents and children. Through the beauty of American Sign Language (ASL), we help people express emotions, find peace, and connect from the heart.
