"From "Hands to Heart" Nurturing Parent-Child Communication with Sign Language"

 When babies can’t communicate constructively, they get frustrated, leading to tantrums and meltdowns. We have all experienced the feeling of helplessness when trying to comfort an inconsolable baby, guessing at what they want.When you and your baby are able to communicate, it forges a closer bond. When you and your baby can understand each other, it increases the feeling of closeness.

Express, Empower and Embrace: Transforming Emotions Through ASL

This course is designed to help adults struggling with challenges to explore and express their emotions and experiences using American Sign Language (ASL). Participants will learn to convey negative emotions into positive ones and treat themselves with kindness. Through interactive sessions, participants will use ASL and body language to understand and manage their emotions effectively. Labor of Love Ministries believes that there are no bad emotions—just emotions. Anger, fear, and sadness are all painful emotions, but they are not bad.

Basic Intro to Sign Langague

These signing lessons will help you communicate with your Deaf friends, classmates, neighbors, and coworkers, Labor of Love Ministries encourage readers to step into the shoes of characters from different backgrounds, cultures, and time periods, enhancing their ability to view the world from varied viewpoints.

 Labor of Love Ministries’ vision is to incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) into children’s storytelling sessions, special education programs, workshop for therapists, educators, and senior facilities. In addition, make the use of ASL as an effective communication tool between parents and children. Through the beauty of American Sign Language (ASL), we help people express emotions, find peace, and connect from the heart.
